How Do You Remember The Matrix?

Set in the year 2073, this science fiction drama follows two detectives in a world where artificial intelligence has produced so many replicas that genuine cinema has vanished. The pair searches for a surviving original copy of the movie The Matrix.

This eight-minute Australian short was directed by Nathan Martin, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Reuben Stone. It is the second film directed by Martin, following his 2024 project What Was. The production was produced by Mia Knox and features a cast including Paul Robertson as Irvine, Alana Louise as Rose, and Joanna Karanikolopoulos as Lilian. Max Nappo and Roman Nappo appear as The Twins, while Valentina Tuha plays Val.
