Riki-Oh: The Story of Ricky

Set in 2001, this film follows Ricky, a martial arts expert sent to a high-security prison after killing a crime boss. In a future where correctional facilities are privatized and corrupt, Ricky finds himself trapped in a sadistic system where prisoners are exploited for labor. While he initially tries to remain peaceful, the extreme brutality of the guards and the prison administration eventually pushes him to use his lethal combat skills to fight back against the oppressors and protect his fellow inmates.

Directed by Lam Ngai Kai, who also wrote the screenplay, this production is the second film in a sequence that includes The Seventh Curse and The Cat. The movie was produced in Hong Kong by Orange Sky Golden Harvest, Paragon Films Ltd., and Diagonal Pictures. The cast is led by Louis Fan Siu-Wong as Ricky, supported by He Jie, Fan Mei-Sheng, and Gloria Yip Wan-Yee.
