The Rootman

The Rootman is an animated fantasy film about a seven-year-old girl named Lilly. As darkness falls over an autumn forest, Lilly searches for her older sister, Nora. Along her journey, she meets various strange inhabitants of the woods while being guided by the light of a mysterious creature known as the Rootman.

The short film has a runtime of four minutes and was directed by Yannick Barel, Benjamin Maurer, and Alizée Gerber. Benjamin Maurer also wrote the screenplay, while Jürgen Haas served as the producer. The voice cast features Adeline Waser as Lilly, Mahayla Gundlach-Graham as Nora, Joseph Wallace as The Rabbit, and Yannick Barel as The Frog.
