Versailles en fête

Versailles en fête is a family music film set in France's most famous castle during European Heritage Days. The production follows a large event where contemporary art and music are integrated into the historical setting. The castle serves as a living stage, utilizing both well-known landmarks and areas that are typically ignored. Host Stéphane Bern guides viewers through the monument, showcasing various locations including the gardens, the Grand Trianon, the Royal Chapel, and the Hall of Mirrors through musical performances and staged encounters.

The film was directed by François Goetghebeur, following his previous work on several concert films and specials including Le Concert de Paris 2026 and How to be a Billionaire with Xavier Niel. Produced by France Télévisions, Mediawan, Électron Libre Productions, and Opéra Royal – Château de Versailles Spectacles, the project features a credited cast of 24. The on-screen ensemble includes host Stéphane Bern, maestro Victor Jacob, and the Orchestre de l’Opéra Royal de Versailles. Musical guests include Slimane, Zazie, and Soprano.
