Short description

An adventurous prehistoric squirrel named Scrat attempts to add the final piece to his extensive acorn collection. His efforts to force the nut into place lead to a chaotic situation where he falls from a cliff, struggling to maintain control of his prize during the descent.

Produced by 20th Century Fox and Blue Sky Studios, this animated comedy features Chris Wedge providing the voice for Scrat. The short film was directed by Carlos Saldanha, marking the first entry in a directorial timeline that includes Ice Age: The Meltdown, Rio, and Harold and the Purple Crayon.
