Secretly, Greatly

Secretly, Greatly follows three North Korean agents sent to live undercover in a poor neighbourhood of Seoul as part of a long-term mission tied to the dream of reunifying Korea. Each has a false identity: one poses as a clumsy, unemployed young man, one as a high school student, and one as an aspiring idol. After two years with no orders, they settle into ordinary lives and grow close to the people around them, until a change of power in the North turns their assignment against them, and they face a choice between killing one another and being hunted down by their own side's operatives. The film is based on the webtoon Covertness by Hun.

Jang Cheol-soo directed, following his 2010 debut Bedevilled and ahead of Serve the People in 2022. Kim Soo-hyun leads as Won Ryu-hwan, with Park Ki-woong and Lee Hyun-woo as his fellow agents, and Son Hyun-joo as Kim Tae-won. The screenplay is by Kim Bang-hyun and Yoon Hong-gi, and the credited cast numbers 28.

Released in June 2013 and running 124 minutes, the film mixes action, comedy and drama. On TMDB it holds a rating of 7 out of 10 from roughly 220 votes, indicating a modest but favourable response from those who have logged it.
