Love's Enduring Promise

Set on the nineteenth-century American frontier, this drama centers on Missie Davis, a schoolteacher whose love of books shapes her idea of romance. She is drawn to Grant, a well-off railroad man from the East who courts her, while a mysterious newcomer, Nate, also takes an interest. When Missie's father Clark is hurt in an accident and cannot work his farm, the family's livelihood is threatened, and both young men find ways to help. Missie must weigh the life Grant offers against her feelings for Nate.
