Cloud 9

Cloud 9 follows the relationship between Kayla, a snowboarder who has been removed from her team, and Will, a former champion whose career ended after a serious injury. Kayla seeks Will's mentorship to improve her skills and prove her athletic ability. In return, she helps with his mother's dog grooming business. As Will puts her through an intensive training program to prepare her for competition, Kayla encourages him to overcome his self-doubt and return to the sport himself.

The film was directed by Paul Hoen, marking the tenth of 16 films in his career, following Let It Shine and preceding How to Build a Better Boy.
