Burial Ground

A group of friends gathers for a weekend at a wealthy industrialist's estate, unaware that the property is cursed. Meanwhile, Professor Ayres, an expert in Etruscan culture, investigates ancient tombs to uncover the secrets of the afterlife. His research inadvertently awakens a horde of undead creatures that begin to terrorize the houseguests. The visitors find themselves trapped in a struggle for survival against the revived zombies.

Directed by Andrea Bianchi, this 1981 Italian horror film followed his previous works, What the Peeper Saw and Treasure Island. The screenplay was written by Piero Regnoli and produced by Gabriele Crisanti. The ensemble cast includes Karin Well as Janet, Gianluigi Chirizzi as Mark, Mariangela Giordano as Evelyn, Antonella Antinori as Leslie, Simone Mattioli as James, and Peter Bark as Michael.
