Return of the Living Dead Part II

A military truck loses a metal drum near a small town, and local children open it. The gas inside escapes into the air, drifting toward the cemetery, where it brings the dead back to life. The risen corpses set out after the brains of the townspeople, and the living have to find a way to survive. Ken Wiederhorn wrote and directed this 1988 horror comedy follow-up to The Return of the Living Dead, with Tom Fox producing for Greenfox.

Michael Kenworthy, Thor Van Lingen and Jason Hogan play the children, while James Karen and Thom Mathews appear as Ed and Joey. The film came after Wiederhorn's Dark Tower and well after his 1977 debut Shock Waves, and its credited cast runs to 34 names.

Made for around 6 million dollars, it returned roughly 9 million dollars worldwide. On TMDB it holds a 6.4 rating from over 700 votes.
