Pink Floyd: Live at Pompeii

Pink Floyd: Live at Pompeii captures the British progressive rock band performing in the ruins of an ancient Roman amphitheatre in Pompeii, Italy, in 1971. The group plays a set of its material from that period, without a paying crowd present; only the film crew is there as the music unfolds among the stone remains. The film mixes the concert footage with interviews and scenes of the band at work in the studio on what would become The Dark Side of the Moon. It was originally conceived as a project involving European broadcasters.

Adrian Maben directed the film, which was released in 1972 and runs 84 minutes.
