Naoya and Katsuhiro are a new couple struggling to find common ground, as Naoya is open about his identity while Katsuhiro remains cautious and closeted. Their relationship faces a major disruption when they meet Asako, a troubled woman who asks Katsuhiro to father a child with her. As the three individuals navigate their connections, the situation is further complicated by Katsuhiro's brother and sister-in-law, the latter of whom attempts to intervene due to Asako's unstable history.
The comedy-drama was written and directed by Ryosuke Hashiguchi and released in 2001. It is the first of two listed films directed by Hashiguchi, followed by All Around Us in 2008. The film was produced by SIGLO and features a credited cast of 24 people, including Kazuya Takahashi as Naoya, Seiichi Tanabe as Katsuhiro, and Reiko Kataoka as Asako.
