Nightmare Sisters

Three socially awkward sorority sisters, Melody, Marci and Mickey, have little luck with romance. Hoping to improve their social standing, they invite three equally awkward male students to their sorority house for an evening together. The gathering takes a supernatural turn when a séance goes wrong and demonic forces possess the young women, transforming them into seductive, uninhibited succubi. Their guests are left dealing with the consequences.

This 1988 American comedy-horror film was directed by David DeCoteau, the second of twenty-two features he directed in chronological order, following Dreamaniac and preceding Puppet Master III: Toulon's Revenge. The screenplay is by Kenneth J. Hall, who produced alongside DeCoteau. The cast is led by Linnea Quigley as Melody, Brinke Stevens as Marci and Michelle Bauer, credited as Michelle McClellan, as Mickey, with Timothy Kauffman, Matthew Phelps and C. Jay Cox as the male leads.

The film runs eighty-three minutes. It holds a rating of 5 out of 10 on IMDb from around 2,200 votes, and 5.6 out of 10 on TMDB from roughly 123 votes, indicating modest but consistent viewer reception across both platforms.
