Picture Claire

Claire Beaucage, a French speaker from Quebec, travels to Toronto to find a photographer she had a brief romance with after a fire destroys her home. Upon arriving in the city, her lack of English and a case of mistaken identity pull her into a dangerous conflict. She is confused for another woman who killed a smuggler, leaving Claire targeted by both the police and ruthless criminals.

Directed by Bruce McDonald, this thriller is the second film in a list that includes Hard Core Logo and Pontypool. The movie was written by Semi Chellas and produced by Robert Lantos and Wendy Grean. The main cast features Juliette Lewis in the lead role, alongside Gina Gershon, Mickey Rourke, Callum Keith Rennie, Camilla Rutherford, and Kelly Harms.
