Finding Fanny

Five friends from Goa set out on a road trip and lose their way while trying to trace what became of the childhood sweetheart of an aging postman. The search turns into an adventure across the region, complicated by the group's own tangled relationships and personal troubles.

The film is a 2014 Indian adventure comedy drama directed by Homi Adajania, his second feature after Cocktail (2012) and the second of five titles he directed, later followed by Angrezi Medium, Murder Mubarak and Cocktail 2. It stars Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, Naseeruddin Shah, Dimple Kapadia, Pankaj Kapur and Anand Tiwari. Dinesh Vijan produced it through Maddock Films and Illuminati Films.

Released on September 11, 2014, the film runs 102 minutes. Against a reported budget of 120 million, it took in about 8 million worldwide. On IMDb it holds 5.7 out of 10 from roughly 6,900 votes, while on TMDB it sits at 5.4 from around 49 votes. Audience response was therefore modest and divided, with the larger IMDb sample landing slightly above the much smaller TMDB group.
