The Auntie from Chicago

A retired military officer in Athens raises his four daughters under strict discipline and conservative rules. Although he wants them to marry, his refusal to let them spend time alone prevents any suitors from approaching them. While his wife and a neighbor try to convince him to loosen his restrictions, he remains stubborn. The situation changes when his wealthy sister returns from Chicago. She decides to modernize the household and help her nieces integrate into contemporary society.

This Greek comedy was written and directed by Alekos Sakellarios. It is the second film in a sequence of three directors' works, following No Harm's Done and preceding Mrs. Midwife. Produced by Finos Film, the movie features a cast that includes Georgia Vasileiadou, Orestis Makris, Eleni Zafeiriou, Pantelis Zervos, Jenny Karezi, and Gelly Mavropoulou.
