Short description

A former rock singer has given up performing after his brother's death and finds himself accused in connection with that death. When he discovers a vase holding a female genie, she offers him three wishes and sets out to bring him back to life. The Italian fantasy drama blends romance with supernatural elements.

Charles Finch directed and wrote the screenplay. The film stars Christophe Lambert as Menrou, Diane Lane as China, Francesco Quinn as Peter, Claudia Ohana as Lisa, J.C. Quinn as Willy, and Monica Scattini as Nicoletta.

Released in 1988, Priceless Beauty runs 97 minutes. Audience reception has been weak: on IMDb it holds a rating of 4.3 out of 10 from 422 votes, while on TMDB it sits at 3.2 out of 10 from 12 votes. Both figures point to a film that found little favor with viewers.
