Ultraman: The Next

Shun'ichi Maki is a skilled Japanese Air Force pilot who struggles to balance his career with his family life. His wife feels neglected, and his son suffers from a serious congenital blood disease. To prioritize his family, Maki decides to leave the military and take a part-time job as a tour guide. However, during a mission, he encounters a mysterious light and survives a crash, leading to strange visions. He eventually becomes the new Ultraman to protect Earth from a mutant creature known as The First, which is tracked by a military scientific facility led by Sara Mizuhara.

The film was directed by Kazuya Konaka, who previously directed titles such as April Ghost Story and Ultraman Zearth 2: Superhuman Big Battle - Light and Shadow. The screenplay was written by Keiichi Hasegawa. The cast features Tetsuya Bessho as Maki, Kyooko Tooyama as Mizuhara, and Kenya Ousumi as Takafumi Udou.
