A determined doctor travels to a remote Alaskan town after failing to secure a prestigious position she wanted. While integrating into the local community and starting a romantic relationship with a man named Andy, she discovers that the small town hides a significant holiday secret involving a mysterious transport business and a man who resembles Santa Claus. She must learn to abandon her rigid professional plans to embrace an unexpected happiness.
