Infini

In the 23rd century, an elite search and rescue squad is sent across space to a remote mining station called Infini. Their mission is to retrieve Whit Carmichael, apparently the only person left alive after a biological disaster has wiped out the facility. What the team finds at the edge of the galaxy is a station marked by the scale of the catastrophe, and they soon learn the story of the fight against the virus that swept through it. After locating Carmichael, the rescuers discover a lethal biological weapon on board that is set to reach Earth within hours, leaving them to race against time in a hostile, quarantined environment.

Infini is an Australian science fiction horror thriller directed by Shane Abbess, who wrote the screenplay with Brian Cachia and produced it with Matthew Graham and Sidonie Abbene. It was Abbess's second feature, following Gabriel in 2007 and preceding Science Fiction Volume One: The Osiris Child in 2016. Daniel MacPherson plays Whit Carmichael, with Grace Huang, Luke Hemsworth, Bren Foster, Luke Ford and Dwaine Stevenson among the credited cast of thirty.

Released in 2015, the film runs 110 minutes. It received a critics' rating of 4.7 out of 10 from 16 reviews, while audiences on TMDB rate it 5.2 out of 10 from 401 votes, a slightly warmer response than that of reviewers.
