Set during World War II, this Japanese crime drama and horror film follows a young man who is shunned by his fellow villagers. After a medical condition prevents him from serving in the military, he becomes emotionally unstable and carries out a series of brutal killings.
Directed by Noboru Tanaka, this movie followed his previous works, including Night of the Felines, Secret Chronicle: She Beast Market, and Noboru Ando's Chronicle of Fugitive Days and Sex. The screenplay was written by Takuya Nishioka. The film features a credited cast of 20 actors, with lead roles played by Masato Furuoya as Tsugio Inumaru, Misako Tanaka as Yasuyo Akagi, and Shino Ikenami as Eriko Tosaka.
