Beverly Hills Cop III

Detroit detective Axel Foley returns to Beverly Hills when the murder of his superior leads him to a Los Angeles amusement park called Wonder World. There he rejoins his old colleague Billy Rosewood, now running a special police unit, and works alongside Rosewood's partner Jon Flint. Their investigation into the killing uncovers that the park is serving as cover for a large-scale counterfeiting operation. The film is the third entry in the Beverly Hills Cop series, with Eddie Murphy again playing Foley, Judge Reinhold returning as Rosewood, and Héctor Elizondo joining as Flint.

John Landis directed, working from a screenplay by Steven E. de Souza; Mace Neufeld and Robert Rehme produced. It was Landis's fifteenth film as director in chronological order, following Innocent Blood and preceding The Stupids. The supporting cast includes Timothy Carhart, John Saxon and Jon Tenney. With a budget of 50 million dollars, the film took about 119 million dollars worldwide.

Audience response has been modest. On IMDb it holds 5.5/10 from roughly 100,000 votes, and on TMDB 5.9/10 from a much smaller base of about 2,200 votes. A critics' rating of 4/10 from 56 reviews places it below the audience scores.
