Short description
An imaginative boy who frequently makes things up witnesses a murder, but can't get his parents or the police to believe him. The only people taking him seriously are the killers - who live upstairs, know that he saw what they did, and are out to permanently silence him.
What's left behind the scenes
- The screenplay is based on a story by well-known American author of 'hard-boiled detective' fiction, Cornell Woolrich, 'The Boy Cried Murder'.
- Bobby Driscoll was found dead nineteen years later in a similar apartment building in New York, having died from a drug overdose.
