Frankenstein

Set in Los Angeles, this science fiction horror film follows Adam, a creature artificially created by a couple of eccentric scientists, Victor and Elizabeth Frankenstein. After being abandoned by his creators, the disfigured man struggles to understand his identity and the nature of humanity. Although he initially displays childlike innocence, the violence he experiences and his inability to control his emotions lead him to become dangerous. As he wanders the city, Adam clashes with the people he encounters and eventually returns to confront the people who made him.

Written and directed by Bernard Rose, this project is the 13th of 14 films he directed, following Sx_Tape and preceding Samurai Marathon. The movie stars Xavier Samuel as Adam, with Danny Huston and Carrie-Anne Moss portraying the scientist couple. Other cast members include Tony Todd, Mckenna Grace, and Maya Erskine. A joint production between Germany and the United States, the film has received a mixed response from viewers. On IMDb, it holds a rating of 5.1 based on 3,300 votes, while its TMDB score is 5.4 from 123 votes. These audience ratings are lower than the score given by film critics, who rated the movie 6.7 based on 9 reviews.
