Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Movie

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Movie tells the story of a young reindeer born with a nose that glows bright red, a trait that makes him an outcast among the other reindeer. After losing a contest to a rival and enduring constant mockery, Rudolph runs away from home and takes shelter in a cave. With encouragement from his friend Zoey and others he meets, he must face the dangers threatening Santa's village, including the villainous Stormella, and find a way to prove his worth.

Released in 1998, the animated musical was directed by William R. Kowalchuk Jr., who also produced, from a screenplay by Michael Aschner and Robert L. May. It features a voice cast including John Goodman as Santa Claus, Whoopi Goldberg as Stormella, Debbie Reynolds in several roles, and Bob Newhart as Leonard, with Eric Pospisil and Kathleen Barr voicing the younger and older Rudolph.
