Mannequin Two: On the Move

Mannequin Two: On the Move is a 1991 comedy fantasy directed by Stewart Raffill. It follows Jason, a young department store employee in Philadelphia who learns he is the reincarnation of a prince from a legendary European kingdom. Long ago, his beloved Jessie was placed under a spell that turned her into a wooden figure, and she now stands as a mannequin in the store, displayed as part of an exhibition of German culture. When Jason removes the enchanted jeweled necklace she wears, Jessie returns to life after a thousand years, and the two resume their romance. The sorcerer responsible for her condition, who has also been reborn as the schemes of Count Spretzle, wants the necklace and the woman. The film stars Kristy Swanson as Jessie, William Ragsdale as Jason and the prince, Meshach Taylor as Hollywood Montrose, Terry Kiser as Count Spretzle, and Stuart Pankin as Mr. James. It was written by Edward Rugoff, Ken Levine and David Isaacs, and produced by Rugoff.

The film sits sixth in Raffill's directing credits, arriving after Mac and Me and before Tammy and the T-Rex. Its budget of 13 million dollars was not recovered at the box office, where it earned around 4 million worldwide.
