Jun Naruse is a girl who lost her ability to speak after a supernatural egg-shaped spirit sealed her voice. This occurred following a childhood incident where her words caused her family to break apart, and the spell was intended to prevent her from hurting others again. Living in isolation, Jun's situation changes when she is appointed to a student council and cast in the lead role of a high school musical. Along with three classmates, she explores friendship and music to find a way to express her inner feelings.
