Heaven Station

Based on real events from 1960s Japan, this drama follows Kayo, a woman trapped in a complex web of deception and murder following the death of her abusive husband. Directed by Masanobu Deme, this 1984 production was the first of two listed films in his career, followed by Last Friends in 1995. The screenplay was written by Akira Hayasaka. The film features a cast led by Sayuri Yoshinaga as Kayo, alongside Toshiyuki Nishida, Tomokazu Miura, Kimie Shingyoji, Kayoko Shiraishi, and Midori Yamamoto.
