Godard Mon Amour

Set in Paris in 1967, this romantic drama follows the relationship between filmmaker Jean-Luc Godard and actress Anne Wiazemsky. The two fall in love and marry during the production of the film La Chinoise. Their personal happiness is eventually challenged by the negative reception of the movie, which sparks a personal crisis for Godard. As the events of May 1968 unfold, he undergoes a deep transformation, shifting from a prominent cinema figure toward Maoist political activism.
