Sandy Wexler

Sandy Wexler is a talent manager working in Los Angeles in the 1990s, representing a group of eccentric performers who have never quite broken through in show business. Devoted to his clients and tireless in promoting them, he keeps believing that stardom is within reach. His life changes when he discovers Courtney Clarke, a singer of real talent, in an amusement park and takes her on as a client. His commitment to her career becomes entangled with his feelings for her, and the relationship between manager and performer unfolds over the years that follow.

Adam Sandler stars as Sandy Wexler and wrote the screenplay with Tim Herlihy and Paul Sado, and also produced alongside Allen Covert and Ted Sarandos. Jennifer Hudson plays Courtney Clarke, with Kevin James, Colin Quinn, Nick Swardson and Jackie Sandler among the supporting cast.
