The Valley of Gwangi

Set in Mexico at the end of the 19th century, the story follows a struggling Wild West show that acquires a tiny prehistoric horse. This discovery prompts an expedition to a hidden valley where the group finds a variety of living dinosaurs. After capturing a large carnivorous Allosaurus to use as a circus attraction, the characters face chaos when the creature escapes during a public performance.

Directed by Jim O'Connolly, this was his second feature film following Berserk! in 1967. The movie was produced by Charles H. Schneer and written by William Bast. The cast features James Franciscus as Tuck Kirby, Gila Golan as T.J. Breckenridge, and Richard Carlson as Champ Connors, alongside Laurence Naismith, Freda Jackson, and Gustavo Rojo.
