Frank & Jesse

Following the American Civil War, Frank and Jesse James find themselves at odds with railroad investors and Union interests. Driven by a desire for revenge and a feeling of oppression, the brothers team up with the Younger siblings and other associates to form a gang. Together, they carry out a series of robberies targeting banks, coaches, and trains. Their criminal activities trigger a relentless pursuit by the investigator Allan Pinkerton, who is determined to bring the outlaws to justice.

Written and directed by Robert Boris, this film was released in 1994 and stands as the third project in the director's career, following Steele Justice and Buy & Cell. The cast features Rob Lowe as Jesse James, Bill Paxton as Frank James, and Randy Travis as Cole Younger, with William Atherton playing Allan Pinkerton. The production was handled by Trimark Pictures.
