Albert

Albert is an animated family film about a small Douglas fir tree who dreams of becoming the most famous Christmas tree in Empire City. After learning about a search for this year's featured tree, Albert travels to the city to achieve his goal. He is accompanied by two friends, an optimistic palm tree named Maisie and an honest weed named Gene. Along the way, they face various obstacles and the interference of a character called Cactus Pete, leading Albert to discover the true meaning of the holiday.

The film was directed by Max Lang, following his work on The Gruffalo and Room on the Broom. It was produced by Nickelodeon Animation Studio and Studio Soi. The voice cast includes Bobby Moynihan as the title character, alongside Judah Friedlander, Sasheer Zamata, and Rob Riggle. The screenplay was written by Aaron Eisenberg, Joe Stillman, and Will Eisenberg.
