Clinical is a horror thriller about Dr. Jane Mathis, a psychiatrist working to rebuild her life two years after a violent attack left her traumatized. Hoping that returning to her practice will help her regain a sense of control, she takes on a new patient, Alex, whose disfiguring accident has left him consumed by what happened to him. As she immerses herself in his case, she is increasingly haunted by disturbing visions that echo her own trauma. Her own therapist, Terry Drummond, notices that she is not improving but instead growing worse, and the situation soon becomes a physical danger to her as well.
