Napoleon

A Golden Retriever puppy who wants to be a great explorer takes on the name Napoleon. Through a series of events, he ends up in the Australian wilderness, far from the protection of his mother. To survive in this harsh environment, he must learn independence and navigate various dangers. Along the way, he forms a friendship with a parrot who helps him overcome obstacles. After experiencing the realities of the wild, the pup realizes the value of his home and begins the long journey back.

The film was directed by Mario Andreacchio, who previously directed Fair Game in 1986. The screenplay was written by Michael Bourchier, Mark Saltzman, and Andreacchio.
