IMAX Hubble

This documentary follows a crew of seven astronauts aboard the Space Shuttle Atlantis during a 2009 mission to service the Hubble Space Telescope. Using IMAX 3D cameras, the film records the technical challenges of repairing and upgrading the telescope's instruments to ensure it could continue observing distant galaxies and the wider universe. The crew members had to balance their primary duties as astronauts with the responsibility of filming their own space walks.

Directed by Toni Myers, this project followed her 2002 film Space Station 3D and preceded A Beautiful Planet in 2016. The film was a joint production between NASA, IMAX, and Warner Bros. Pictures, featuring Leonardo DiCaprio as the narrator.

The documentary has a runtime of 44 minutes and was produced in Canada and the United States. It is generally well-regarded by its audience, holding a rating of 7.1 on TMDB based on 117 votes. Film critics gave the movie a higher score, with a rating of 7.8 based on 42 reviews.
