Separated at Birth

Lucy Pierce discovers that she was abducted as an infant after finding news reports about a high-profile missing child case. This revelation leads her to seek out her biological mother, Elizabeth Marshall, a criminal prosecutor pursuing the governorship of Pennsylvania. While the reunion between mother and daughter is positive, Lucy develops a strained relationship with her sister, Terri. The situation worsens as Lucy becomes involved in a police investigation and suspects a conspiracy is being used to damage her reputation and divide the family.

Directed by Jean-François Rivard, this Canadian thriller is the second of three films listed in the director's career, following FANatic and preceding Mad Mom. The movie stars Brittany Allen as Lucy, with Paige Turco and Dominique Provost-Chalkley playing Elizabeth and Terri Marshall. The screenplay was written by James Taylor Phillips and produced by Ian Whitehead and Jean Bureau.
