The Little Bather

Louis-Philippe Fourchaume runs a French company that designs and builds sailing yachts, and he runs it badly tempered. In a fit of anger he fires André Castagnier, his designer, only to learn that Castagnier's boat has won a prestigious race and that the designer is the one man who could secure a contract with the Italian businessman Marcello Cacciaperotti. Fourchaume sets out to win him back and finds him in a remote village deep in rural France, where the tables are turned: Castagnier has no wish to return to his old position, and his former boss is drawn into the life of the man's family while struggling to keep his temper.

The film is a comedy directed by Robert Dhéry, written by Albert Jurgenson, Jean Carmet and Pierre Tchernia, and produced by Robert Dorfmann. Louis de Funès leads as Fourchaume, with Robert Dhéry as Castagnier, Andréa Parisy, Franco Fabrizi, Michel Galabru and Colette Brosset among the cast of twenty-four. It was released in March 1968 and runs 96 minutes.

On IMDb it holds a rating of 6.6 from around 5,000 votes, and on TMDB a rating of 6.6 from just under 400 votes, indicating a modest but settled level of approval across a fairly small audience.
