Short description
Red, a safe cracker who has just been released from prison, is trying to hold his family together as his past catches up with him in the form of Luc, a psychopathic contract killer who's seeking revenge for the death of his brother.

- The one hundred and four scratches on Luke's lighter indicate the number of weeks he spent in prison.
- A shopper from Beijing, Mrs. Cox, mentions an artist named Chang Chen. In reality, this is not a proper name. For hundreds, even thousands of years, this has been the name used for the Great Wall of China. Therefore, when Mrs. Cox talks about copies and fakes, she means the numerous souvenirs for tourists.
- Executive producer Samuel Hadida (1953-2018) and director Roger Avery had known and been friends for many years. Therefore, when Hadida suddenly passed away shortly after completing work on the film, Avery dedicated the film to the memory of his friend, who appears on screen after the final credits – it’s the man who is asked to remove his sunglasses at the bar.
