A grieving family seeks justice after their daughter is killed by a drunk driver. The parents face frustration due to bureaucratic delays before the case finally reaches court. Once the trial begins, a young district attorney struggles to counter the legal maneuvers and technicalities used by the defense attorney. As the judge repeatedly rules in favor of the driver, the family fears the defendant will avoid punishment entirely and remain free to drive.
