This experimental Yugoslavian production consists of seven short sketches arranged as a collage. The film was shot over one night at the FEST international film festival in Belgrade in 1971. Several young directors were tasked with filming brief segments in a single hotel room attic using one stationary camera. Each contributor had to keep their scene under three minutes and include the specific line regarding missing Sonja Henie. The final work combines these dramatic and fantastical fragments with additional footage, including archive clips of Sonja Henie.
The project was directed by a group including Miloš Forman, Buck Henry, Dušan Makavejev, Paul Morrissey, Tinto Brass, Frederick Wiseman, Mladomir Puriša Đorđević, and Karpo Aćimović Godina. For Forman, this follows The Firemen's Ball, while for Brass, it comes after The Howl. It is the first listed directorial credit for Buck Henry, Makavejev, and Morrissey. The screenplay was written by Forman, Henry, and Catherine Rouvel. The cast features Buck Henry as Doctor, Branko Milićević as Mladić, Dobrila Stojnic as Devojka, and Sonja Henie appearing as herself.
Released in 1971, this comedy and drama has a runtime of 16 minutes. It was produced by Neoplanta Film. On TMDB, the film has a rating of 5.4/10 based on 24 votes.
