Zombiebox

Zombiebox is a Russian comedy consisting of a series of intentionally poor sketches. The film uses various genres, including science fiction, drama, and action, to mock a wide range of social groups and public figures. Through these scenes, the production suggests that modern life has been overtaken by television.

Produced by Comedy Club Production, the film was directed by Konstantin Smirnov, marking the first entry in a list of two directed works that includes the 2025 film Volchok. The screenplay was written by David Tsallaev, Timur Karginov, and Philipp Voronin. The ensemble cast features Garik Kharlamov, Garik Martirosyan, Timur Batrutdinov, Aleksandr Revva, Pavel Volya, and Yekaterina Varnava, with a total of 37 credited performers.

Released on January 25, 2018, the movie earned 3 million USD at the worldwide box office. Audience reception was generally negative, as reflected in the ratings. On IMDb, the film holds a score of 2.7/10 based on 321 votes, while on TMDB, it has a rating of 3.5/10 from 18 votes.
