Claude and Marie Verneuil have already made peace with the fact that their four daughters married men of different faiths and backgrounds. Now a new problem lands on them: David, Rachid, Chao and Charles each have reasons to leave France, and all four intend to take their wives and children with them. Unable to picture a life without their family nearby, Claude and Marie look for ways to keep the sons-in-law in the country. Meanwhile, the Koffi family arrives in France for their daughter's wedding, bringing fresh surprises of their own.
Philippe de Chauveron directs and co-wrote the screenplay with Guy Laurent, returning to the characters he introduced in Serial (Bad) Weddings (2014) and continuing the series after With Open Arms (2017); a third instalment followed in 2021. Christian Clavier and Chantal Lauby again play Claude and Marie, with Ary Abittan, Medi Sadoun, Frédéric Chau and Noom Diawara as the four husbands. Romain Rojtman produced, and 47 cast members are credited.
Made for about 19 million USD, the comedy took roughly 88 million USD worldwide, a strong return on its budget. Audience response has been measured: on IMDb and on TMDB it holds a moderate rating, with the TMDB figure of 5.9 out of 10 drawn from about 1,330 votes.
