Silent Night, Deadly Night Part 2

Ricky Caldwell is confined to a psychiatric hospital, where he recounts to Dr. Henry Bloom the violent history of his family: the murder of his parents and the killing spree carried out by his older brother Billy, who dressed as Santa Claus. The story traces how Ricky himself came to follow the same path. Once he leaves the institution, he puts on a Santa suit, takes up an axe, and sets out through the town.

The film is a 1987 American horror comedy directed by Lee Harry, who wrote the screenplay with Joseph H. Earle. Lawrence Appelbaum produced, and the credited cast runs to 78 performers with 60 crew members. Eric Freeman plays the adult Ricky, with James Newman as Dr. Henry Bloom, Elizabeth Kaitan as Jennifer, Jean Miller as Mother Superior, and Darrel Guilbeau and Brian Michael Henley as Ricky at fifteen and ten. It runs 88 minutes and follows the 1984 film in the series.
