A group of wealthy twenty-somethings gathers at a remote family estate for a party as a hurricane approaches. To pass the time, they play a game in which one player is secretly designated the killer and the others must figure out who it is. The game stops being a game when people actually start dying, and the friends turn on one another as suspicion, old grudges and shifting loyalties take over. Cut off from help, they try to work out who among them is responsible while the night spirals further out of control.

The film is a comedy-horror-mystery directed by Halina Reijn, her second feature after Instinct (2019); her later films are Babygirl (2024) and Please (2027). Sarah DeLappe wrote the screenplay, and David Hinojosa and Ali Herting produced it for A24 and 2AM. The cast includes Amandla Stenberg, Maria Bakalova, Myha'la, Rachel Sennott, Chase Sui Wonders and Pete Davidson, with a credited crew of 140.

Made for about 3 million dollars, the film took roughly 14 million dollars worldwide, a strong return on its budget. It holds a 6.2 rating on IMDb from around 89,000 votes and a 6.1 on TMDB from about 1,500 votes, while critics rated it 7 out of 10 across 239 reviews, placing critical opinion somewhat above the general audience response.
