The 355

The 355 follows a group of intelligence agents from different countries who are forced to work together when a highly advanced weapon falls into the wrong hands. A CIA officer, an MI6 computer specialist, a Colombian psychologist, a German operative and a Chinese agent each bring their own skills and loyalties to the mission, but their rivalries and divided national interests complicate every step. Their search takes them across several continents and puts them at odds with a mysterious woman who seems to be tracking their movements.

Simon Kinberg directed and co-wrote the film with Theresa Rebeck, and it is his third feature as director, after Fantastic Four and Dark Phoenix. Jessica Chastain, who also produced alongside Kinberg and Kelly Carmichael, leads a cast that includes Lupita Nyong'o, Penélope Cruz, Diane Kruger, Fan Bingbing and Sebastian Stan, with 65 credited cast members and 380 credited crew. The production was mounted on a budget of 75 million dollars and returned 56 million worldwide.

Audience response has been modest: on IMDb it holds 5.6 out of 10 from 43,000 votes, while on TMDB it stands at 6 out of 10 from a much smaller base of 1,178 votes. A film critics' rating of 4.5 out of 10 from 229 reviews places it below both of those audience figures. The film runs 122 minutes and was released in January 2022.
