Hell House LLC II: The Abaddon Hotel

Hell House LLC II: The Abaddon Hotel is a 2018 American horror and mystery film written and directed by Stephen Cognetti. Set eight years after the deadly events that unfolded on the opening night of the Hell House attraction, it follows investigative journalist Jessica Fox, played by Jillian Geurts, who receives an anonymous tip suggesting that crucial evidence about what happened is concealed inside the abandoned Abaddon Hotel. Convinced the truth is still waiting to be found, she gathers a small team and they break into the building to search for answers. What they encounter there soon proves more dangerous than any of them anticipated.

The film is the second entry in a series that Cognetti has continued to build over the following years. Vas Eli appears as Mitchell Cavanaugh, alongside Joy Shatz as Molly Reynolds, Dustin Austen as David Morris, Brian David Tracy as Arnold Tasselman and Kyle Ingleman as Brock Davies. Joe Bandelli produced the film, which runs 90 minutes and was made by Terror Films, Cognetti Films and Marlyous' Boys.

Released in September 2018, the film holds a rating of 5.4 out of 10 on IMDb from around 10,000 votes, while on TMDB it sits at 5.7 out of 10 from roughly 227 votes. Audience reception therefore places it in modest territory rather than as a standout of the found-footage horror wave. It followed Cognetti's 2015 original and preceded Hell House LLC III: Lake of Fire, released in 2019.
