Max is an insurance broker facing a deep existential crisis and a serious illness. While investigating the disappearance of a man named Arthur to help a client claim a life insurance policy, Max discovers the Hotel Aurora. This secluded and secretive facility specializes in assisted suicide and elaborate fantasies for those wishing to end their lives. Max enters the hotel under the guise of his investigation, leading to a journey where he questions his own perception of reality and the nature of existence.
The drama mystery thriller was directed by Jonas Alexander Arnby and written by Rasmus Birch. It features Nikolaj Coster-Waldau in the lead role as Max Isaksen, alongside Tuva Novotny, Sonja Richter, Kate Ashfield, Robert Aramayo, and Jan Bijvoet.
