Sessão Especial

Sessão Especial is a Brazilian drama and family film about a woman named Rita. When a traveling cinema arrives in her small town, she finds herself with the chance to experience a movie screening for the first time in many years.

Written and directed by Gabriela Queiroz, the film is the first of two listed works in her career, followed by Estática in 2022. The cast features Marilza Colombo in the lead role as Rita, appearing alongside Ademir Colombo as Marco Antônio, Julianne Pinheiro as Marina, and Enrique Patrícius as Nilson.
