Tom Dolan is a career bank robber who has kept his identity hidden while stealing millions from small-town banks. When he falls in love with Annie Wilkins, he decides to leave crime behind and negotiate a deal with the FBI, offering to return the money in exchange for a clean record. The agents who take his call see an opportunity of their own, and their plans turn Tom into a target rather than a cooperating witness. Pursued by both the police and the FBI, he has to use the skills from his past to protect himself and Annie and to clear his name.
Mark Williams directed the film, his second feature after A Family Man (2016) and before Blacklight (2022), and wrote the screenplay with Steve Allrich. Liam Neeson plays Tom, with Kate Walsh as Annie and Jai Courtney, Jeffrey Donovan, Anthony Ramos and Robert Patrick among the supporting cast. The production, made in the United States and the United Kingdom, cost about 30 million dollars and returned roughly 31 million worldwide.
On IMDb the film holds 6 out of 10 from 63,000 votes, while on TMDB it has 6.5 out of 10 from 1,950 votes. A critics' rating of 5 out of 10 from 112 reviews places it below both audience scores, which are close to each other.
